Our FAR & FRR, live from real captures

Every number below is computed from genuine verification attempts on this site — same-person checks (genuine) and different-person checks (impostor). No stock datasets, no cherry-picked lab conditions. Updated automatically as new attempts come in.

Rate by threshold

Lower threshold = easier to pass (fewer rejections, more false accepts). Our live threshold is highlighted.

How we measure

1. A volunteer enrolls on the live demo.
2. They verify as themselves several times → genuine scores.
3. A different person verifies against that enrollment → impostor scores.
4. FAR = impostors above threshold ÷ impostors. FRR = genuines below threshold ÷ genuines.
5. We store scores + labels only — never face images.

What it means for you

FAR near 0% means strangers don't get in. FRR near 0% means you always do. Our threshold sits where both stay low on real phone captures — and every API response carries its own confidence so you can apply a stricter cutoff for high-risk actions (payouts, password changes).
